POSPORT RTS
is an analytical tool that allows the many and varied features of a ro-ro terminal to be modelled explicitly. The terminal is modelled as a whole to ensure that the interactions between all the activities of a terminal are modelled precisely.
The range of features that can be modelled include physical features such as the layout of the terminal and the performance characteristics of each item of trailer and container handling equipment, and non-physical features such as the arrival and dwell time profiles for various types of freight traffic and the working hours of the terminal berths and gate.
