Container Terminal Simulation (CTS)
POSPORT CTS
provides terminal operators with the chance to analyse complex "what if" scenarios prior to major capital investment. CTS allows the user to design container terminal layouts and then assign all types of equipment and transport schedules. The simulation can be viewed in 2D and 3D and output from the model provides numerical and statistical analysis from which throughput and operational efficiency can be evaluated.
When individual cranes cost more than £1million, CTS offers port operators real financial benefits before having to commit to capital investment.
